This wedding was a reall special and joyous event, which I was delighted to photograph. In my 40 years of wedding photography, I have seen many changes over time. One of the greatest watershed moments in Irish cultural history was the ratification of gay marriage by popular vote, in 2015.

Nowadays, gay people can wed each other, as we move into a golden age where people of all diversities are embraced. I loved being there on Laura and Maeve’s Big Day in the Talbot Hotel in Co. Carlow. Afterwards, we had a photgraphy session in the stunning Delta Sensory Gardens. 

I wish you both decades of bliss, happiness, and good fortune for your lives together. The happiest years of your existence lie ahead. More power to you, ladies!
